Job Description Part-Time Overnight Front Desk Agent - Night Auditor (11 pm - 7 am): Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night Shifts Enjoy a work environment where you are given the tools, training, staff, and support to be your best! Must like smiling, being helpful, and have a positive, can-do attitude. This is a great opportunity for a low-stress work environment with lots of time for studying or reading. Compensation: $17.50 hourly Responsibilities: • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready, • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date, • Handle customer complaints as necessary, • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information, • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests, • Give every guest a warm welcome and check them in, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbers, • Check guests out when they leave, ensuring an excellent stay and a warm goodbye, • Make guestroom deliveries, keep the front desk clean, and walk the property. Complete other tasks as necessary, • Manage room bookings in person, online, and through incoming calls Qualifications: • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems, • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations, • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills, • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred, • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred, • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, • Working knowledge of using computers, the internet, and smartphones, • Positive attitude, good customer service skills, • Neatly groomed, fingernails trimmed and maintained, no face or neck tattoos, • Likes to stay up late or is a night owlAbout Company The Inn at Meadowbrook is an independent 54-room boutique Hotel and Luxury Inn, nestled on the edge of an eighty-acre park and surrounded by mature trees, winding paths, and tranquil lakes.
