Why Southern New Mexico Southern New Mexico delivers something genuinely uncommon for healthcare professionals: 300+ days of sunshine per year, an outdoor lifestyle anchored by the Organ Mountains and White Sands National Park, and a cost of living that makes your compensation stretch significantly further than in comparable coastal or metro markets. The region sits near the Texas border, with El Paso about an hour south — giving residents the ease of a smaller community with convenient access to a major metro. The food culture here is its own draw, rooted in authentic New Mexican cuisine that people relocate for on its own merit. If you value space, light, and a pace of life that doesn't grind you down, this region rewards that. About the Organization This is a 200-bed acute care hospital operating as part of Lifepoint Health, a national healthcare delivery network with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities across the country. From unit-level culture to system-level resources, the infrastructure here is built to support long-term careers, not just fill shifts.
