NextWave Academy is looking to add to our OSHA Outreach and Safety Training instructors to help further our mission of providing the highest-quality safety and occupational training. We are interested in bringing on one or more instructors to lead OSHA Construction and General Industry courses as well as NYC DOB required site safety training courses. This is a per-course contract opportunity with flexible scheduling needs. Responsibilities: NextWave Instructors: · Deliver safety training courses as assigned · Maintain attendance records, sign-in sheets, and other student recordkeeping · Submit training records to Academic Coordinator in timely manner · Comply with all OSHA Outreach and/or NYC DOB regulations and standards · Ensure personal credentials and licenses remain valid and in good standing Candidate Qualities: · OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer card · Microsoft Office Suite / Google Work Suite · Experience guiding an adult education classroom · Ability to schedule, facilitate, and problem solve · Experience in the fields of occupational health and safety, construction, or the skilled trades Bonus: · Knowledge of video conferencing tools (Zoom) · English-Spanish language a plus About NextWave: NextWave Safety Solutions, Inc. is a solutions company offering full-service risk management to the construction, skilled trade, general, and heavy industries.
