Job Description Full-time | On-the-Job Training and Certifications Available | Benefits including PTO, Dental/Health/Vision Insurance, and 401K Matching Position Details • Position Title: Warehouse Technician, • Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an organized, efficient, and clean warehouse environment while ensuring the proper handling, storage, and upkeep of equipment, contents, and supplies. This role involves conducting daily audits of stored contents, inspecting for damage or contamination, and implementing effective storage systems to promote safe, easy retrieval. The technician upholds a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse by executing daily and weekly cleaning routines and promptly addressing hazards or discrepancies. Additionally, they are responsible for routine maintenance and inspection of warehouse equipment and vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards. This position also involves managing inventory levels, inspecting supplies for quality, and maintaining proper storage conditions. The Warehouse Technician plays a vital role in supporting overall operational efficiency, safety, and readiness within the organization. Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities will include: • Clean/Store Contents, • Conduct daily audit to ensure all materials and contents are stored in designated areas and in good condition., • Implement and maintain an organized layout (labeling, vault numbering) that promotes efficient retrieval and minimizes damage., • Regularly inspect items for signs of wear, damage or contamination; report and rectify issues immediately., • Maintain Clean, Neat & Straight Warehouse, • Consistency in visual presentation - overall appearance, layout adherence, uniformity of storage areas., • Execution of daily/weekly cleaning routines., • Clarity of signage and labeling, logical placement of inventory, and minimization of clutter or misplaced items., • Timely in correcting issues, proactive in identifying hazards and clearly communicates them to supervisor., • Maintain Equipment & Vehicles, • Adhere to maintenance checks and schedules for all warehouse equipment and vehicles, including routine checks and servicing., • Ensure that equipment and vehicles are inspected before use to confirm they are in optimal working condition., • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry and SERVPRO safety regulations - report discrepancies immediately., • Clean/Store Equipment, • Daily cleaning routines for equipment are executed and focus on areas that are most prone to grime or residue., • Ensure that after cleaning, all equipment is stored in designated areas that protect it from damage, dust or environmental exposure., • Provide team training on the correct methods for cleaning and storing equipment, emphasizing the importance of these tasks for operational efficiency and longevity., • Store/Maintain Supplies, • Maintain an accurate and updated inventory of supplies, including emergency (STORM) and routine stock levels and conduct regular audits., • Ensure supplies are stored in conditions that prevent degradation--climate control, proper shelving, pest control measures, etc., • Regularly inspect supplies for expiration dates, damage or inconsistencies and remove and substandard items from circulation Skills and Abilities • Ability to maintain a clean, efficient, and logically arranged warehouse environment that supports fast and accurate retrieval of equipment and supplies., • Consistently inspects contents, equipment, and supplies for damage, wear, or contamination and takes appropriate corrective actions., • Skilled in conducting regular inventory audits, maintaining accurate stock levels, and identifying discrepancies in supplies and materials., • Able to perform routine inspections and maintenance on warehouse equipment and vehicles, identifying issues early and reporting them promptly., • Effectively prioritizes and completes tasks in a timely manner, including daily cleaning routines and scheduled maintenance., • Understands and follows SERVPRO and industry safety protocols, proactively identifying and communicating potential hazards., • Capable of lifting and moving heavy items, standing for extended periods, and performing physical tasks in various environmental conditions., • Communicates clearly and professionally with supervisors and team members, especially when reporting maintenance or safety concerns., • Quickly addresses storage or maintenance issues, using sound judgment and initiative to resolve problems efficiently., • Works well in a collaborative environment and supports warehouse training initiatives to maintain high operational standards. Education and Experience • High school diploma or GED required., • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or facilities maintenance role preferred; experience in the restoration or construction industry is a plus., • Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations is preferred., • Experience performing routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles is beneficial., • Familiarity with safety standards and best practices related to storage, equipment handling, and workplace cleanliness., • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Physical Requirements • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move equipment, materials, and debris weighing up to 50 pounds., • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments, • Comfortable working in confined spaces, high heat, humidity, or cold conditions, as well as areas with debris, mold, or water damage, • Ability to operate and maneuver heavy machinery, tools, and equipment, • Capable of wearing and working in personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and suits, for extended periods, • Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials, cleaning, and equipment operation, • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary, • Strong stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks for extended shifts, • Ability to operate a motor vehicle Conditions of Employment • Successful completion of a background check., • Motor Vehicle Report complete with requirements met for being insured on company vehicle insurance policy., • Verification of your qualifications and references., • Acceptance and compliance with the Company’s employment policies and guidelines as stated in the Employee Handbook
