Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and material handling operations within a steel pipe manufacturing facility. This role ensures efficient receipt, storage, staging, and distribution of steel pipe, raw materials, and finished goods while maintaining safety, inventory accuracy, and production support. Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of materials and finished pipe., • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse personnel, forklift operators, and material handlers., • Coordinate material flow to support production, threading, coating, and shipping operations., • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP., • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and load securement., • Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and facility safety standards., • Conduct routine warehouse inspections and lead housekeeping and 5S initiatives., • Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance for forklifts, cranes, and material handling equipment., • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve cycle times., • Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Logistics teams to resolve material issues and shipment discrepancies., • Prepare reports related to inventory, staffing, productivity, and operational performance.Qualifications:, • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications preferred., • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a manufacturing or industrial environment., • Experience in steel pipe, tubular, or heavy manufacturing strongly preferred., • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems; SAP experience a plus., • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills., • Solid understanding of inventory control, material handling, and shipping processes., • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement., • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
