As we continue to grow, we are seeking an organized, proactive Clinical Coordinator to help manage daily operations and support our clinical and caregiving teams. A background in healthcare is a strong advantage and highly valued for this role. Position Summary The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management and operational coordination of the agency’s clinical and office functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, efficient workflows, and clear communication between clinicians, caregivers, patients, and leadership. As a key member of a small, family-run team, this position works closely with ownership and has a direct impact on patient care quality and staff success. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate daily clinical and operational workflows, • Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage for caregivers and nurses, • Maintain accurate patient and employee records in compliance with HIPAA and Nevada state regulations, • Assist with onboarding, credentialing, licensing, and personnel file management for clinical staff, • Monitor clinical documentation workflows to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Maintain clinical tracking logs, reports and dashboards within the EHR system, • Support QAPI activities, audits and survey readiness, • Track and follow up on physician’s orders, certifications, recertifications and related clinical documentation, • Support intake, referrals, discharges and coordination of new patients, • Serve as a primary point of contact for clinicians, caregivers, patients, families, and referral sources, • Support billing, payroll coordination, and basic bookkeeping functions, • Monitor compliance with state, federal, and agency policies and procedures, • Assist leadership with reports, audits, census tracking, and operational improvements, • Manage phone calls, emails, referrals, and general office correspondence, • Maintain a professional, organized, and efficient office environment, • Identify opportunities to improve clinical coordination, processes, and communication, • Create and maintain all documentation including filing system and any necessary reports., • Screen applicants and schedule interviews. Assist training new hires. Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and continuity of care, • Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications can be modified at any time to meet the agency's needs. Preferred Qualifications • College-level healthcare or nursing related certification preferred (Medical Office Administration, Health Information Technology, Healthcare Management, Nursing or a related field), • Nursing background preferred but not required, • Experience in home health, hospice, or healthcare coordination, • Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and home health operations, • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality, • Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills, • Proficiency with scheduling systems, EMRs, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently in a fast-paced environment, • Position does not involve direct patient care Education & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent recommended, • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred, • Prior experience as a Clinical Coordinator, Office Coordinator, Healthcare Coordinator, or similar role preferred, • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar field.
