    Location: Queens Village, NY Position: Part-time / Full-time available Start: Immediately We are a busy, well-established laundromat in Queens Village looking for a reliable and friendly attendant to join our team. Responsibilities: Role 1: Wash-and-Fold Attendant Sort, wash, dry, and fold customer laundry (training provided) Follow proper laundry care instructions (colors, delicates, special items) Package and label completed orders neatly Assist customers with washer and dryer questions Keep folding tables and counters clean and organized Perform light store cleaning (sweeping, mopping small areas, taking out trash) Clean lint traps regularly Report any machine issues or customer concerns Maintain a friendly and welcoming environment Role 2: Porter (Store Cleaning & Maintenance Support) Maintain cleanliness of the entire laundromat throughout the shift Sweep and mop floors regularly Clean bathroom (if applicable) and refill supplies Wipe down machines, carts, folding areas, and customer seating Empty trash bins and replace liners Clean lint traps on dryers and remove lint buildup around machines Organize carts, baskets, and supplies to keep the store looking neat Assist with basic maintenance tasks (tightening screws, checking leaks, etc.) Notify management promptly of any repairs or safety hazards Ensure the store remains safe, clean, and presentable for customers Requirements: Must be dependable and on time Friendly attitude and good customer service Able to stand and move throughout the shift Previous laundromat or customer-service experience is a plus
