Our busy, progressive\npractice offers an exciting and diverse caseload including: \n • Primary care and soft tissue\n surgery\n, • Dentistry\n, • Limited emergency care\n Small companion animals make up about 60% of our caseload, but if\nmixed species or exotics spark your interest, you’ll have the opportunity to\npursue those passions as well. The Role As Managing Veterinarian, you’ll partner closely with the Hospital\nManager to lead both medical excellence and practice growth. With 4–8%\nprotected administrative time, you’ll focus on: \n • Advancing high-quality,\n progressive medicine\n, • Mentoring and leading a strong\n clinical team\n, • Driving financial and operational\n performance\n Schedule You Can Enjoy \n • Typically a 4-day work week\n, • One rotating Saturday per month\n, • 6 exam rooms, surgery suite, and\n treatment area\n, • Digital radiography and dental\n X-ray\n, • Ultrasound\n, • Class IIIb laser\n, • Cryo unit, tonopen\n, • Isoflurane & sevoflurane\n anesthesia\n, • Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 +\n production bonuses\n, • Up to $40,000 in personalized\n sign-on bonuses\n, • $20,000+ relocation assistance with a dedicated relocation\n partner\n, • Health, dental, and vision\n insurance\n, • 100% liability coverage\n, • 401(k) with company match\n, • CE days and generous allowance\n, • Paid vacation and sick time\n, • Paid state license, DEA, and\n professional dues\n Located just outside Buffalo, East Amherst offers the perfect blend of big-city\namenities and small-town charm—short commutes, diverse neighborhoods,\nincredible food, rich architecture, and two major sports teams.
