We're looking for a Certified Safety Professional to work as a Senior Project Manager on our consulting team. Why This Role Matters: We're looking for a Senior Safety Project Manager (CSP) who is passionate about helping organizations build safer workplaces while leading projects, developing people, and delivering exceptional client experiences. In this role, you'll combine deep technical safety expertise with project and people leadership to guide complex consulting projects from kickoff through final deliverables. You'll partner with clients to solve challenging workplace safety issues, ensure projects are delivered on scope, on budget, and on time through SevenGen's Proven Process, and build trusted relationships that extend well beyond project completion. As a senior leader within our Safety practice, you'll also play an important role in developing others. You'll coach and mentor a small team of Project Managers and Safety Consultants, helping them strengthen their technical capabilities, consulting skills, and confidence while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Who You'll Work With You'll work alongside a collaborative team of Safety Professionals, Project Managers, Account Managers, and technical leaders who are committed to helping one another succeed. You'll partner closely with clients throughout every stage of the project lifecycle while collaborating internally with Business Development, Operations, Talent, and fellow technical experts to deliver exceptional outcomes. Depending on business needs, you may directly lead a small team of Project Managers and Safety Consultants, providing coaching, performance feedback, technical guidance, and career development support. You'll also work closely with the Director of Safety to strengthen our consulting practice, develop future leaders, and continuously improve how we serve our clients. You'll have the autonomy to lead while always having the support of a collaborative team behind you. What You'll Do: As a Senior Safety Project Manager, you'll lead projects from proposal through final deliverables while helping your team and clients succeed every step of the way. You'll: • Lead complex safety consulting projects through SevenGen's Proven Process, ensuring projects remain on scope, on budget, and on schedule., • Perform and oversee safety assessments involving machine safety, control of hazardous energy (LOTO), confined spaces, fall protection, powered industrial trucks, process safety, process hazard analysis, and other high-risk operations., • Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, technical expertise, and exceptional service., • Prepare clear, concise technical reports that translate complex safety risks into practical, actionable recommendations., • Collaborate with Business Development, Project Managers, and technical teams to deliver seamless client experiences., • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Project Managers and Safety Consultants by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance coaching., • Foster accountability by helping your team remove roadblocks, follow SevenGen's Proven Process, and consistently deliver high-quality work., • Identify opportunities to improve project quality, strengthen consulting processes, and elevate the client experience., • Represent the SevenGen brand through professionalism, technical excellence, leadership, and a genuine commitment to protecting people and the environment. We'll provide the support, relationships, and resources you need to become a successful leader at SevenGen. \tFirst 30 Days • Get to know your teammates, clients, and SevenGen's Proven Process., • Learn our project management systems, reporting expectations, and quality standards., • Begin supporting active client projects while building relationships with your assigned clients., • Understand the strengths, development opportunities, and goals of any direct reports. \t \tBy 60 Days • Independently manage multiple consulting projects while providing an exceptional client experience., • Begin coaching Project Managers and Safety Consultants through technical and project-related challenges., • Develop confidence balancing technical consulting, project leadership, and people leadership., • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, communication, and team effectiveness. \tBy 90 Days • Lead complex safety projects confidently from kickoff through final deliverables while consistently following SevenGen's Proven Process., • Be recognized as a trusted advisor by clients and a dependable leader by your team., • Successfully coach and develop your direct reports through regular feedback, accountability, and support., • Contribute to strengthening SevenGen's Safety practice through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. What You'll Bring Experience: • 5+ years of safety consulting or related safety experience., • Previous experience leading projects and coaching or supervising technical professionals., • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related discipline., • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation (required) Technical Expertise: • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, consensus standards, and industry best practices., • Experience conducting complex safety assessments across manufacturing and industrial environments., • Expertise in machine safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined spaces, fall protection, powered industrial trucks, and other high-risk work activities., • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex safety risks clearly., • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while balancing technical quality, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
