To protect your workforce, we are at your fingertips: internationalsos.com Job Description The Physical Therapist is responsible for creating patient rehabilitation programs to help improve mobility, function, and strength. Under the direction of the Sr. Hospital Administrator and Chief Medical Officer, the Physical Therapist may assist with diagnosing the root cause of the injury, counsel patients, and work with them to create a plan for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluates and assesses assigned patients to determine the proper course of treatment., • Performs tests and measurements of muscles, nerves, range-motion, posture, strength, and ambulation, circulatory and respiratory status., • Interprets results of test and measurement of the patient's condition for use in preparing the treatment plan, modifying treatment, and evaluating results of treatment., • Determines need for adaptive equipment and devices and initiates prosthetic requests; demonstrates knowledge of assistive devices, seating and mobility, coordinating provision through ongoing liaison with patient, family, physician, occupational therapist, kinesiotherapy’s and social worker., • Performs stimulation of the peripheral and central nervous systems as a noninvasive means of therapy for the control of chronic pain., • Keeps thorough electronic medical documentation of evaluations, goals, patient/family education, progress, and change in treatment or patient. Basic Requirements/Certifications: • Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia or US Territory to provide healthcare within scope of practice., • Completion of a physical therapy master's or doctoral degree program from an approved college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) is required, • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment., • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time., • Must be able to read, write & speak English to effectively communicate, • This position may be accompanied., • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required., • US DOD CNACI or the ability to obtain one is required., • A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. Additional Information Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
