Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: RVE is seeking a water / wastewater inspector with experience in the field of water and sewer construction. The ideal candidate should be familiar with gravity sanitary main, sanitary force main, pump station and wastewater treatment plant components and operation. The individual should also be versed in water main installation, water supply distribution systems and the components and operation of water treatment plants. The individual may also inspect storm sewer systems and roadway construction. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this field. They will provide construction observation and project management services for municipal and county agencies. PRIMARY DUTIES: • Perform constructability and plan reviews prior to construction. Interact with the design engineer with input before the project goes out to bid., • Perform construction management services for projects that consist of water supply and sanitary distribution systems. Including work in water and wastewater plants. Ensure the job site is maintained in a safe, neat, and orderly fashion by the contractor., • Provide inspection of contractors work to ensure that the work is being performed as per plans and specifications and regulatory requirements. Primary Job Responsibilities TekBank Consultants Inc. is seeking dedicated, intelligent individuals who will be working in a railroad environment. The selected individual will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and controlling computerized safety systems on a continuous basis during normal and emergency operations. This is a part-time position, averaging a minimum of 24 hours per week, that is in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment. Employees will work either on day shift or on night shift. Must be available to work on weekends. During a 4 - 6 week training period, the salary will be $24 per hour. The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (“PVSC”), a publicly-owned wastewater treatment facility located in Newark, New Jersey, is currently seeking a Safety Supervisor.
