Job DescriptionBaler Operator (2nd Shift) Location: Saratoga Springs, NY Pay Rate: $20.50/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Training: One week on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) is a MUST! Position Summary: The Baler Operator is responsible for safely operating baling equipment to process materials efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. This role plays a key part in meeting production goals and ensuring a well-organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: • Operate the baler in a safe and efficient manner, strictly following all operating instructions and ensuring all safety locking mechanisms are engaged before use., • Maintain a safe working distance from the machine at all times, keeping hands, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) clear of moving parts., • Accurately record processed materials on required forms and ensure all documentation is completed and updated daily., • Meet or exceed the minimum production goal of 7 bales per hour as part of a team., • Immediately report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the Site Manager and Baler Technician Manager., • Communicate any safety concerns promptly to the Site Manager or Shift Lead., • Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a sanitary work environment., • Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized at all times (“clean as you go” approach)., • Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) requirements. Qualifications & Expectations: • Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines consistently., • Strong attention to detail for accurate reporting and documentation., • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting productivity goals., • Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with supervisors., • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical tasks as required.Apply today for immediate consideration!
