Chemical Process Engineer job responsibilities include: · Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs). · Develop Process Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs). · Perform calculations (heat loss, pressure drop, etc.). · Develop mass and energy balances. · Perform process system timing analysis. · Prepare utility consumption estimates. · Size and specify process equipment. · Prepare equipment Request for Quotations (RFQs). · Develop detailed process equipment schematics and assembly drawings. · Prepare process system installation scope of work documents. · Participate in process control system software development. Job Description Akkodis is recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Supervisor in Rochester, NY. The salary range for this position is $65K – $115K. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. The Shift Maintenance Supervisor provides management and direct oversight of the Finishing Shift Maintenance staff, setting demand maintenance processes that support reliability, availability, and overall equipment effectiveness in the Finishing Work Center. Responsibilities for this position include: • Establishes and manages work schedules, work assignments, training, personnel development, performance reviews, and coaching. Drive creation, execution, and continuous improvement of maintenance plans to meet systems demands and business objectives., • Provides input to departmental budget, enforcing policies, procedures, and safety regulations., • Provides leadership in building and sustaining a high performing team focused on a continuous improvement, driven by establishing clear expectations measured by key performance indicators. Responsible for developing the team skills and competencies., • Provide Shift Maintenance direction and support during unscheduled equipment downtime, including escalations during off shifts., • Ensures compliance to operations and maintenance policies/procedures and audit readiness. Monitoring and providing feedback to personnel on work documentation. Required Skills for this role include: • 2 or 4 year Degree in technical discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Preferred Skills: Experience in GMP compliance and delivering requirements 2 or more years of people leadership experience 5 or more years maintenance experience in manufacturing production lines knowledge of products and maintenance systems strongly preferred.
