Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Stock Supervisor DEPARTMENT: Retail REPORTS TO: Associate Location Manager LOCATION: Miami, FL HOURS: Part-time (<30 Hours per Week) PAY TYPE: Hourly PAY RATE: $21.00 per hour FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt Role Summary The Retail Team operates the museum’s award-winning retail store, which carries “best-of” products per category, and is known as a trusted destination for all things sexual wellness and sexual fun. The Stock Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the business goals by maintaining inventory both in the Retail Store and ensuring the Super Funland floor is presentable and stocked for guests. Teamwork is a staple throughout our entire operation. The Supervisor works closely with other departments’ staff to create an unforgettable experience for all museum visitors. Primary Job Responsibilities * The Stock Supervisor influences the operations of the Museum and contributes to the success of the business by monitoring product and inventory, ensuring the floor is presentable and visually appealing, and that receiving processes are followed and executed in a timely manner. * Work a regular rotation of the Manager on Duty program for the Museum. * Maintain inventory for Guest Experience, including various prizes and tickets. * Fill games and claw machines throughout Retail and Guest Experience. * Partner with the Product Manager on merchandising and product needs and orders/deliveries. * Ensure the retail floor is filled and presentable per planogram designs. * Collaborate with Retail Leadership to ensure Tester Policy and Procedure is executed. * Use POS systems (Retail Pro and Reports) to keep track of inventory, plan for deliveries, stay up to date on margins, costs, and price updates. * Responsible for Stock procedures, including but not limited to: receiving orders, tagging product, filling the floor, contacting vendors, conducting inventory counts and sending daily recap emails. * Be knowledgeable of product offerings and maintain appearance and functionality of assigned areas: store merchandise, collateral materials, stock rooms, and related spaces. * Be knowledgeable about the museum, its history, programs, and special events and effectively communicate this information to guests. * Facilitate internal communication, as needed, with critical support departments: Operations, HR, Administration, etc. * Keep key team members aware of stock availability and arrivals of new products. * Provide clear communication to management regarding stock levels and shrinkage. * Assist in floor moves and merchandising. * Able to move products from place to place, which may include lifting packages up to 40 lbs. * Perform additional duties as required. Employee Qualifications * You are extremely detail-oriented and organized. * Ability to process information through the online inventory system and the POS system. * You have a background in stock, organization, and merchandising. * You have excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with people of all kinds. * You are a dependable and friendly individual that enjoys working with a team. * You thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * You have the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. * Multilingualism is a plus! * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and clearly in stressful situations and maintain a calm demeanor. * Must be a true self-starter and able to execute assignments independently. * Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team. * High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. * Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check, conducted after an offer has been accepted and prior to the start date. Physical Demands / Work Environment * Will need to lift and move heavy boxes, including those weighing over 40 lbs.
