Key Accountabilities: Update & maintain all daily and monthly expenses through spreadsheet Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data Maintain vendor documents and profiles on QuickBooks and other systems Prepare bills, invoices, and payments Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted Conduct clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents Assist with other accounting related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions, ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both in writing and verbally, with management, vendors Able to work as a team player Open to development of skills and knowledge Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
