Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, the Aquatic Coordinator assist in maintaining proper health and safety standards, assist with supervising lifeguards and instructors, and assist in the general supervision of the aquatic facilities both within the facility and outdoor seasonal facilities, as assigned. A minimum of 50% of incumbent’s time will be hands-on instructing, guarding and supervising. The incumbent must have the ability to model the mission of the YMCA, and carry it out in a professional manner. The emphasis of this position will be placed on the development and supervision of all non-competitive swim programs for all ages and to ensure quality aquatic programs are delivered into the community.
