What Your Day to Day Will Look Like: - Manage all aspects of clients' tax planning, advisory, and return preparation. - Research complex tax subjects - Prepare tax planning and advisory memos for clients on complex tax subjects. - Prepare full written tax plans. - Prepare quarterly updates to tax plans. - Meet with clients. - Review tax returns - Supervise and review work prepared by senior accountants and managers. - Correspond with tax authorities. Other Job Responsibilities - Monitor federal and state tax updates. - Prepare a monthly email tax update for clients. - Review and update tax work templates. - Review and update tax organizer templates. - Develop work paper templates for tax services and related deliverables. - Develop and document a library of tax strategies. - Assist with development of tax services packages for business development. - Assist the CEO with business development strategies for existing tax clients. The Security Systems Analyst will be responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the park's security camera and access controls systems. This includes retrieving and storing security camera footage for business practices and legal proceedings, liaising with external State and City agencies and vendors, and providing technical assistance to Trust staff on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities: Security Cameras: Monitor and maintain the security camera network utilizing Genetec software, including reviewing daily outage reports and taking corrective action, periodically checking cameras for changes to alignment, monitoring bandwidth rates and adjusting as needed, and monitoring camera server storage consumption. Conduct preliminary troubleshooting on camera outages, download videos as needed or upon request, review block diagrams and request updates when needed, coordinate new installations, systems maintenance, and service repairs, configure new cameras and servers, and liaison with security camera contractors, NYPD LMSI, and internal departments. Serve as Genetec system administrator. Access Controls: Provide helpdesk support for issuance of new access control cards, support ID Cart Printing Machine, update lock/unlock schedules for doors, make modifications to user groups, monitor cloudlink status on daily basis and take corrective actions when needed, and coordinate new installations, systems maintenance, and service repairs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in public or business administration, information technology, finance, or a related area and five (5) years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree in information technology or a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of work experience. Summary: Position works 20 hours per week. Salary range is between $20-$23 per hour. This position is a hybrid arrangement. Works closely with Family Support Services Advisory Council (FSSAC) and the Community Outreach Committee. Provides outreach for the Staten Island Developmental Disabilities Council (SIDDC) to provide committee support and information to the community via a myriad of media outlets (including print), presentations, face to face individual meetings, email and telephone contacts. Reports to: FSSAC Co-chairs and Community Outreach Committee Co-chairs. Job related skills: • Requires knowledge of the work of the Staten Island Developmental Disabilities Council, the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) agency and the continuum of services and eligibility criteria. The presentation should be updated as needed and reviewed each year. • Collaborate with the FSSAC and Outreach Committee to develop an outreach plan monthly. • Submit a monthly log that includes a summary of all tasks completed on a daily basis along with a monthly outline for the next month. This should be submitted the first Monday of each month (12 months). • Responsible for SIDDC membership recruitment including follow up by mail and telephone and matching member interests with committee needs. • Works with the Outreach Committee (ongoing) to identify SIDDC information to be noted on the website, included in information packets, and any other print materials related to the SIDDC. • Maintain and update the SIDDC website. • Maintain and update social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube) • Assists the FSSAC in various duties. • Perform all other duties as assigned by the SIDDC Community Outreach co-chairs and FSSAC co-chairs. • Maintain the Information Outreach Coordinator (IOC) handbook.
