The Role We’re looking for a Design Lead to elevate and unify how Golden Steps shows up across every touchpoint—from digital to physical, from parent-facing to clinician recruiting. This person will own the visual identity, push creative standards higher, and build a design function that scales with our growth. You’ll partner closely with marketing, operations, recruiting, and leadership to bring our brand to life in a way that feels human, hopeful, and unmistakably Golden Steps. What You’ll Do: Own the Brand • Define, evolve, and protect the Golden Steps visual identity., • Ensure consistency across web, social, print, clinics, and internal materials., • Concept and execute campaigns (digital, social, email, events, recruiting)., • Translate strategy into compelling, high-performing creative., • Optimize creative for performance (conversion, engagement, recruitment)., • Partner with growth and analytics teams to test and iterate., • Manage freelancers and/or internal designers as we scale., • Establish workflows, feedback loops, and creative processes., • Be the go-to creative partner across the organization., • Shape in-clinic environments to feel warm, playful, and premium., • Support events, video shoots, and brand moments that families remember. Qualifications What We’re Looking For • 5+ years in brand/design (agency or in-house)., • A portfolio that shows range + taste (brand systems, campaigns, digital)., • Strong understanding of performance-driven creative (not just pretty design)., • Experience building or evolving a brand across multiple channels., • Ability to balance speed + quality in a high-growth environment., • Comfort working cross-functionally (marketing, ops, recruiting, clinical teams)., • A bias for action—you don’t wait, you create. Bonus if you have: • Healthcare, multi-location, or mission-driven brand experience., • Experience with video, motion, or environmental design., • Experience scaling a design function from the ground up.
