Prudent Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Prudent seeks a Receptionist/Front Desk Coordinator to join our team either part-time or full-time. The Receptionist/Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting. What you'll be able to do: • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner, • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails, • Maintain the front desk and common areas to ensure they are organized and presentable, • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings, • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, • Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing, copying, and document preparation, • Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary, • Assist with processing insurance requests and providing status updates as needed, • Communicate with internal staff regarding insurance requests when necessary, • Assist with onboarding and other HR-related administrative tasks as needed, • Coordinate with other departments to support daily office operations, • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, • Other duties as assigned. The minimum requirements we seek: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred), • 13 years of administrative, receptionist, or front desk experience preferred, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Strong communication and customer service skills, • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Valid NYS driver's license required What you'll receive in return: • A compensation range of $18-20 per hour, • Medical, dental, vision insurance., • 401K with company match., • PTO plus paid holidays., • Unlimited opportunities to advance your career., • Actual compensation may vary based on work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
