We are a full-service supplier and fabricator of rebar and mesh for concrete, specializing in small to medium size jobs. Regular Working hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM. Hours will vary according to delivery schedule. As a member of our driving team, some of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. -Coordinate with management and assist team members with loading and unloading steel from trucks. -Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure and accurate. -Maintain logs of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. -Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, binders, or covers. -Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting products and do delivery on a daily basis. -Communicate with customers regarding order issues. -Assist in the manual offloading of material when necessary -Administer paperwork to clients accurately and properly -Assist in any and all yard operations when not on delivery Requirements: Hold Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or higher) Previous driving experience in flat bed required (knowledge using a boom strongly preferred). Follow flexible schedule. We will require you to come in early in the morning, as early as 5AM Heavy lifting (75+lbs), standing for long periods, repetitive tasks Detail and safety oriented Able to communicate effectively in English A strong working knowledge of the streets of New York City required Salary is determined based on experience and qualifications.
