Job DescriptionSalary: We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager, Business Insights, with deep CPG experience to lead the evaluation of media investments and their impact on sales across Retail, Amazon, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels. This role will own the end-to-end business insights agenda with a strong focus on media effectiveness across TV, social, search, and retail media and translate findings into strategic recommendations that drive growth. You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, eCommerce, and Finance leaders, bringing forward insights that shape investment strategies, in-market optimization, and annual planning. This position requires both strong technical acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, compelling storytelling. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and delivery of media measurement frameworks (MMM, attribution, incrementality testing) to quantify ROI across TV, social, search, and retail media., • Own the connection between media spend and sales outcomes, incorporating both short-term performance (sales lift, ROAS) and long-term impact (brand equity, market share)., • Integrate syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), Amazon Marketing Cloud, and retailer POS/eComm data into holistic insights., • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure media insights are embedded in sales strategies, promotional planning, and eCommerce execution., • Build and deliver executive-ready dashboards, reports, and presentations that highlight performance drivers and optimization opportunities., • Serve as the subject matter expert on media effectiveness within the CPG context, staying ahead of measurement best practices., • Manage external vendors and RFP processes to ensure the business is leveraging the best measurement partners, tools, and methodologies., • Be proficient in utilizing AI tools to optimize reporting speed and analysis. Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related field (Masters preferred)., • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business insights, or media measurement, with at least 3+ years in CPG., • Proven ability to connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes (sales, market share, velocity, distribution)., • Expertise with syndicated retail data (Nielsen, IRI), Amazon Marketing Cloud, and retailer/eComm data sources., • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)., • Experience leading MMM, attribution, or advanced measurement approaches in CPG., • Strong business storytelling and presentation skills with experience influencing senior leaders., • Demonstrated leadership through either direct team management or cross-functional project leadership., • Location: Austin, TX, or plans to relocate to Austin, TX Success in this Role Looks Like • Media investment decisions are guided by your insights, leading to more efficient spend allocation and stronger sales growth., • Leadership teams view you as the go-to authority on media ROI and commercial impact., • You are delivering scalable, consistent insights that drive cross-functional alignment., • The business gains a competitive advantage in how it measures, learns, and optimizes marketing spend in the CPG landscape.
