Basic Job Functions: The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility-scale energy storage systems. This role supports system uptime and performance through scheduled maintenance, real-time fault response, and root-cause diagnostics of electrical and control systems. Working closely with site operations, OEMs, and remote monitoring teams, the technician ensures reliable system performance across components such as inverters, battery modules, fire suppression, HVAC, and SCADA. This is a field-based, hands-on role ideal for those with strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and an interest in contributing to the clean energy transition. The Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight and management of the claim processing functions related to claims adjudication, appeals, escalations, quality, and recovery. The CMAS Supervisor will have direct management of a team that supports, researches, and resolves the accurate processing of healthcare claims for employer-sponsored health plans. This role sets productivity benchmarks, enforces quality standards, and drives continuous improvement.
