Job Description About Us Reflex is a leading activewear company behind 90 Degree by Reflex, Yogalicious, and Reflex, sold across major retailers nationwide. We are expanding into licensed entertainment IP activewear and building a creative team to support a diverse and growing portfolio of franchise-based properties. We’re seeking a Junior Activewear Fashion/Graphic Designer whose natural style leans bold, graphic, heroic, and dynamic. This role is ideal for a junior designer who thrives in vector-based graphic design and enjoys working with action-forward characters, strong silhouettes, icons, and typographic systems for performance apparel. About the Role You will support the Senior Designer(s) responsible for bold, high-energy, graphic-heavy entertainment IP. Your day-to-day work will focus heavily on: • vector refinement and cleanup, • building engineered and placement graphics, • typographic and emblem/icon development, • recolors, resizes, layout variations, and motif adjustments, • preparing clean, structured files for multi-round licensor submissions, • implementing revision feedback quickly and accurately, • This is a highly technical, production-oriented design role in a fast-paced approvals environment. What You’ll Do • Execute bold, high-impact graphics under the senior designer’s direction, • Build clean, precise Illustrator vector files suitable for activewear applications, • Create graphic variants such as recolors, composition changes, and scaled layouts, • Develop and refine icons, emblems, badges, symbols, and typographic treatments, • Assist in the creation of engineered placement graphics and tech-inspired motifs, • Prepare submission-ready artwork with annotations, thumbnails, and application notes, • Interpret style guides, posing rules, symbol systems, and visual tone guidelines, • Apply revision notes accurately across multi-step feedback cycles, • Deliver structured artwork to production teams for existing activewear silhouettes, • Maintain meticulous organization, file hygiene, naming conventions, and version control Who You Are • A junior designer with a naturally strong, bold, graphic, action-oriented visual style, • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator (required) and comfortable in Photoshop, • Excellent vector illustration and graphic composition skills, • Strong with typography, emblem/icon creation, and graphic systems, • Comfortable working through multiple revision cycles in structured approval workflows, • Experienced in apparel graphics (activewear experience is a plus), • Detail-obsessed and highly organized, • Able to take direction well and work efficiently under tight timelines, • Interested in entertainment franchises with heroic, adventurous, or high-energy aesthetics, • Experience with entertainment licensing is a plus but not required. Job Description We believe that you will be a part of cultivating a friendly and warm shopping experience for & Other Stories customers through organic customer service, product knowledge, operational routines and overall upkeeping within a value driven team environment to drive sales.
