National Airlines specializes in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements, utilizing 747-400 and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions. Job Title: Passenger Sales & Operations Planning Manager Location: Orlando, FL Department: Sales Reports To: SR Commercial Manager of Passenger Services FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: The Passenger Sales & Ops Planning Manager requires full spectrum charter sales and operations. The candidate is responsible for developing sales networks with a strategic focus on effective utilization of available company-owned / chartered aircraft and charter client support services globally. The position is also responsible for developing business opportunities with VIP customers, airlines & travel agents, negotiating to maximize the charter pricing based on the existing market demand and performing the highest level of customer service to our customers. The candidate should be highly experienced and networked in the air charter industry, fully familiar with airlines, aircraft capabilities, flights operations requirements and service provision. Essential Functions: • Monitoring incoming requests for passenger air charter operations via telephone and email, • Source appropriate type of business for the mission to match the aircraft capability., • Process a pricing quote for all requested operations, • Collaborate with other geographic air charter managers to provide customer satisfaction through on – time delivery, • Work independently, negotiate high – value financial commitments, and assure compliance with industry regulations and policies, • Implement and monitor all charter operations while advising the customer of operational progress, • Research and develop sales prospects through marketing, professional contacts, inquiries and past and present company client base, • Achieving revenue and growth targets using experience and established industry networking contacts, • Travel to target markets to visit prospective clients, • Adherent to the company’s ethics and compliance standards, • Follow relevant Quality Management processes assigned for the region, • Prepare reports to Senior Management as required, • May perform other duties as required or directed, • Plan and connect daily flights & to coordinate all Ops arrangements for charter operations and ensure smooth mission planning and execution, • Developing and maintaining Vendor relations with ground handlers and government entities such as CAA's, Customs authorities, etc. and negotiating agreements and contracts, • Manage the customer service and contract administrators and in direct supervision over mission and commercial planning executives., • Manage the customer service and contract administrators and in direct supervision over mission and commercial planning executives., • A bachelor's degree required. A degree in Business, Business Management, Aviation Management or equivalent is preferred., • Independent workers with strong initiative to get things done proactively, identify problems, develop solutions, and initiate action, • At least four years’ experience in aviation management or charter sales and operations, • The position must meet several deadlines and will have to manage several requests and situations at one time.
