Job DescriptionDescription: Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. (AIE) is an Industrial Engine Distributor based in Omaha, NE, with offices in Kansas City, KS, Modesto, CA, and Las Vegas, NV. The OEM Engine Sales Rep works closely with new and existing original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) to support sales of AIE’s full range of industrial products and services. They will work with these customers through all phases of the business cycle to ensure projects are completed on time and customers enjoy a positive experience. The OEM Engine Sales Rep is also responsible for identifying and establishing new business through relationships, research, and outbound contact. The OEM Engine Sales Rep is also critical in developing and maintaining close relationships with engine vendors. This includes direct contact with Regional Sales Managers. Candidates MUST resides in California or Nevada. Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship from quote to aftersales support., • Seek out and establish new business through outbound and direct contact with customers., • Manage relationships individually and throughout the organization to achieve excellent. levels of customer and vendor satisfaction., • Identify appropriate products and services to offer to OEM’s., • Prepare and present quotes for engines packages and engineering services to OEM’s., • Negotiate pricing, terms, and other business arrangements surrounding the sale of AIE products and services., • Work with AIE Application Engineering Team to deploy and test engines in new applications., • Respond to customer concerns regarding products, pricing, availability, applicability, deliveries, and after-sales support., • Develop and maintain an accurate sales forecast for a given list of customers., • Use of AIE software and systems to manage customer orders and relationships (Epicor ERP, CRM), • Travel to customers in California and Nevada.Requirements: Qualifications • College degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field, • Experience with industrial engines or off-highway equipment, • Experience with large customers and complex corporate environments, • Excellent written and verbal skills, • High level attention to detail, • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in this or related industry, • Experience with Kubota, JCB, or Ford engines, • Application engineering experience with off-highway equipment, • Ability to formulate and execute business plans, • Experience writing for letters, technical documentation, or contracts Benefits • Guaranteed 401(k) Match, • Employee Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance is paid 100%, • Employee Assistance Program, • Paid time off, • Flexible Work Schedule, • Charitable Match Program Job Type Full time Schedule • Monday through Friday, (Days), • 40 hours per week About Us • AIE was established in 1974 with headquarters in Omaha, NE.
