American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Houston, Texas. • Specialty: Interventional Radiology, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/17/2025, • Duration: 8 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license, with critical care or radiology nursing experience and ACLS/BLS certifications. • Position is in the Main Radiology/Interventional Radiology (IR) unit of an acute care hospital, • Patient population includes both scheduled outpatients and inpatients as needed, • Responsibilities include procedures similar to those found in a Cath Lab setting, • Experience with CT, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, PICC line management, and anesthesia care required, • Work schedule consists of variable day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00-17:30 or 8:00-18:00), • Call coverage is required one to two days per month per rotation, • Epic EMR experience preferred, • Nurses must be flexible and able to work in a busy procedural environment, • Outpatient and inpatient procedural care is required along with moderate sedation and critical care support, • Shift scheduling is manager-flexible, though call coverage is required, • Daily and monthly on-site parking is available for a fee, • Dress code aligns with hospital requirements; check for specific scrub colors or attire during onboarding, • Candidates may not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit Health (including CHI/Dignity) within the past year, • Two professional references are required: one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years, both including employment dates and rehire eligibility, • Copy of a valid driver’s license must be provided upon consideration, • Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration, • Minimum two years of RN experience required, • Radiology nursing experience (IR/procedural) preferred; ICU or ER experience acceptable if lacking radiology experience, • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (no pending certifications accepted), • Ability to take call as scheduled, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy, • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-620757.
