LOCATION: California (hybrid role) EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt SALARY RANGE: $24 - $26.50 per hour based on experience Overview: The Sales Support Representative plays a vital role in helping sales partners operate efficiently and effectively. They serve as a key liaison between sales, operations, customer service, and other departments, working to streamline processes, manage documentation, and support client interactions. They are instrumental in maintaining accurate records, advocating for the needs of sales partners, and ensuring timely follow-through on sales-related tasks. Their contributions help drive consistency, improve communication, and enhance the overall experience for both internal teams and external clients. Responsibilities: • Cultivate and maintain strong sales partnerships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions., • Serve as a primary point of contact for sales partners, assisting with the resolution of pending items required for account approvals, including guidance on application processes, merchant pricing setup, and product selection., • Serve as a key liaison between sales partners and internal teams by clearly communicating client needs and providing prompt, accurate support across various areas of the business., • Create, track, and manage service tickets from initiation through resolution, maintaining timely follow-up and coordinating with relevant teams to meet service level expectations., • Communicate policy changes, promotions, and card scheme/compliance updates to sales partners, outlining key impacts and ensuring they understand how updates affect their operations., • Train new and existing sales partners on how to navigate the company portal, including submitting and tracking online applications, accessing reports, and creating service tickets., • Guide new Sales Partners through the onboarding process, including collecting required documentation, accurately entering partner information, and confirming that revenue share and buy-rates are properly set up., • Demonstrates openness to coaching and feedback, maintaining a positive and professional attitude to continuously improve service delivery and sales partner support., • Bachelor’s Degree preferred., • Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchant services or a related role strongly preferred., • Hands-on experience and working knowledge of credit card terminals and point-of-sale (POS) devices, including setup, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operation strongly preferred., • Able to consistently perform in a high stress environment, under substantial deadlines., • Maintains professionalism and composure when interacting with sales partners in high-stress or emotionally charged situations., • Excellent organizational, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills., • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities., • Analytical skills. Strong business acumen., • Able to thrive in a team environment and build/maintain professional relationships with co-workers and clients., • Excellent follow-through skills., • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other data programs., • Proficiency in data entry skills, with 90% accuracy and a minimum of 40 WPM., • Proficiency in basic math skills., • Well-versed in navigating and utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
