Job Description Job Summary The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that grow brand awareness, drive sales, and engage the sports card community across digital and in-person channels. This role manages social media presence, promotional campaigns, and content creation while supporting retail, e-commerce, and live-breaking initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are representative of the role but are not exhaustive: • Develop and execute marketing and social media strategies aligned with business goals, • Manage daily content creation and posting across social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube), • Promote product releases, in-store events, live breaks, and special promotions, • Capture and edit photos and video content in-store, during breaks, and at events, • Manage community engagement, including comments, messages, and customer interactions, • Collaborate with breakers, retail staff, and management on promotional initiatives, • Plan and execute email, SMS, or loyalty marketing campaigns as applicable, • Monitor trends in sports cards, collectibles, and social media to inform content strategy, • Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, growth), • Manage influencer partnerships, collaborations, or sponsorships if applicable, • Maintain brand voice, visual standards, and messaging consistency, • Assist with website content, promotions, and e-commerce marketing, • Use graphic design to support marketing materials for in-store signage, events, and releases, • Ensure compliance with platform rules, copyright, and company policies, • Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the scope of the role Required Qualifications • 5 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation, • Strong written and visual communication skills, • Familiarity with major social media platforms and content trends, • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Qualifications • Experience in sports cards, collectibles, or hobby retail, • Video editing and graphic design skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe, Canva), • Experience promoting live streams, e-commerce, or retail businesses, • Understanding of analytics and performance tracking tools Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Creative storytelling and brand-building skills, • Strong organizational and planning abilities, • Ability to adapt quickly to trends and platform changes, • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills, • Data-driven approach to content and campaign optimization Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Work is performed in a retail shop, studio, or hybrid environment, • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, • Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as typing or data entry, for extended periods, • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with coworkers, customers, and other managers Performance Expectations • Grow audience, engagement, and brand visibility, • Support sales and event performance through effective promotion, • Maintain consistent brand voice and quality standards, • Respond professionally and timely to community interactions, • Assign responsibility to assigned staff member when off shift Disclaimer This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities or qualifications.
