We are looking for a driven Residential Sales Representative to own and grow an exclusive territory selling doors, openers, gates, and access solutions to homeowners and residential builders. Essential Job Responsibilities • Aggressive Territory Prospecting: Conduct daily cold outreach and in-person visits to homeowners, residential builders, and contractors to identify new opportunities and grow an exclusive sales territory., • Consultative Solution Selling: Conduct on-site assessments to identify residential door, opener, gate, and access needs and deliver tailored product recommendations that align with client goals and budget., • Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the full sales process from initial contact and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close — with a relentless bias toward speed and decisiveness., • Relationship Development: Build and maintain a high-value pipeline by establishing trusted, long-term relationships with homeowners, residential GCs, and home builders to drive repeat business and referrals., • Proposal & Quote Management: Utilize CRM tools to generate precise, technically accurate proposals and cost estimates, ensuring product specifications, installation requirements, and service contract terms are clearly communicated., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Service Technicians and Installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery, identify upsell opportunities, and convert service calls into new sales., • Market Intelligence & Brand Presence: Leverage knowledge of local residential market conditions, builder relationships, and competitor positioning to influence purchase decisions and grow DuraServ’s presence in the residential channel., • Client Retention & Problem Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for residential clients post-sale, addressing issues with urgency and professionalism to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and referral generation., • This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the required activities, duties, or responsibilities of the team member. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred., • 2+ years of outside sales experience, with a proven track record in residential construction, building products, home services, or related industries., • Demonstrated ability to develop a cold territory into a productive book of business through self-directed prospecting and relationship building in the residential market.
