Job Description LOD Staffing has immediate opening for Administrator IT Services 3 - AVD The Administrator IT Services 3 is responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining software and programs for managing Information Technology assets. This role involves identifying and managing processes for tracking, quality assurance, and reporting from IT asset records while configuring and supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure. The Administrator serves as a technical expert, developing best practices and managing the transition of production environments to new technologies to ensure system performance and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Asset & System Management: Responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining software and programs for managing Information Technology assets. Identify and manage processes for tracking, updating, quality assurance, and reporting from IT asset records and databases., • Infrastructure Support: Responsible for configuring and supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure, enterprise application installation, configuration, design, and troubleshooting., • Technical Consultation: Consult with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinate and operate maintenance activities for workstations, identify recurring issues, and recommend steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems., • Strategic Planning: Creates plans for the transition of development and production environments to new technologies, utilizes system software to monitor the performance of system files, manages system data to maintain performance efficiencies, and studies system requirements to determine proper installation methods and procedures., • Reporting & Analysis: Provide data analysis and reporting on various processes, including update compliance, computer hardware, mobile hardware, software utilization, and other areas as required. Responsible for managing software availability to support groups and customers., • Maintenance & Deployment: Manage and maintain area systems that include inventory, licensing, patching, deployment, and reporting., • Expertise & Development: Demonstrates technical expertise through maintaining primary technical programming skills for the assigned job, developing new skills as required, developing guidelines and standards, and establishing best practices., • AVD Specific Tasks:, • Deploy and configure AVD host pools, session hosts, and scaling plans., • Manage FSLogix profiles and optimize image deployment., • Monitor performance and troubleshoot AVD-related issues., • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code tools., • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards. These essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and regular attendance must be maintained. • Deploy and configure AVD host pools, session hosts, and scaling plans., • Manage FSLogix profiles and optimize image deployment., • Monitor performance and troubleshoot AVD-related issues., • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code tools., • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards., • Provide Tier 2/3 support for AVD incidents and document resolutions. Education and Experience Required: • 3+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop administration., • Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, and security., • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation., • Experience with FSLogix, image management, and performance tuning., • Familiarity with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Preferred Requirements: • Microsoft Intune experience for device compliance, application deployment, and policy management., • Microsoft AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
