Job Description Warehouse Operations & Inventory Specialist Location: Tucker, GA (inside 285) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM Pay: $22–$28/hr (based on experience) + benefits About Cogent Cogent Technology Resource supports hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the Southeast by installing and servicing critical technology and equipment. About the role We’re hiring a Warehouse Operations & Inventory Specialist to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse organization, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. This is not a “grab-and-go” warehouse job, we need someone who naturally keeps spaces clean, labeled, and orderly, communicates clearly, and can confidently manage inventory flow with our installer team. If you’re the kind of person who likes everything in its place, notices when counts don’t match and can professionally hold the line when items are leaving the facility, you’ll do well here. What you’ll do • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy (counts, condition, documentation), • Inspect and check products upon receiving (including large screen displays, PC hardware and technical mounting hardware), • Organize warehouse locations for easy picking and clean workflow (labeling, bin/location logic, tidy staging), • Manage shipping preparation and outbound orders (packing, staging, documentation), • Maintain accurate inventory in our inventory/CRM system (receipts, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts), • Help manage and track inventory assigned to service vehicles (check-in/check-out process and accountability), • Communicate clearly with installers and internal teams to ensure equipment is ready, correct, and documented, • Support continuous improvement: better organization, cleaner warehouse, fewer surprises, better accuracy What we’re looking for Must-haves • Warehouse experience (shipping/receiving + inventory control), • Strong organizational habits (clean, tidy, consistent, labels/locations matter to you), • Excellent verbal and written communication, • Comfortable using computers daily and working in an inventory system or CRM, • Professional, confident personality — able to work with installers and hold boundaries on inventory control Nice-to-haves • Experience receiving/handling electronics or AV/IT equipment, • Familiarity with barcode scanning, cycle counts, and vehicle/field inventory management Important application notes ZipRecruiter may include a few screening questions with your application. Application Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent., • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience., • Keyboarding speed of 50 WPM or more (required)., • Spotless driving record (no delivery duties, but record must qualify for company insurance)., • Strong computer literacy and comfort with both structured and freeform documentation., • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely., • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail., • Excellent communication skills and professionalism., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment.
