Job DescriptionJob Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for processing and filling prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification. You will also be involved in the packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients. Additionally, you will maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units, replenish workstation supplies needed for filling prescriptions, and work within multiple computer systems simultaneously. You will also have the opportunity to respond to questions or provide specific medication details and clinical information. This role is part of a high-volume production team, filling an average of 50,000 prescriptions per day during the evening shift. Responsibilities • Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification., • Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients., • Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units., • Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions, including vials, caps, and labels., • Work within multiple computer systems simultaneously., • Respond to questions or provide specific medication details and clinical information., • Fill an average of 50,000 prescriptions per day with the team during the evening shift.Essential Skills, • Pharmacy technician license required., • Experience in pharmacy production and inventory management., • Ability to work in a fulfillment environment., • NJ state license required for pharmacy technician.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) highly preferred., • Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
