Sushi Chef Wanted — Solid Skills, Willing to Grow | Williamsburg, Brooklyn We’re a small but growing modern Japanese restaurant (10–12 seats) in Williamsburg, offering a chef’s tasting menu with sushi and warm dishes. Though we operate in an omakase-style format, we’re not looking for an Omakase master — just a solid sushi chef who can handle a station and is eager to grow.
If you’re confident at the sushi bar and want to level up in a supportive team, this is the place for you. 🍣Job Duties
• Handle daily sushi bar routines: prep, service, cleaning, and organization
• Inventory control & vendor ordering (we’ll work together)
• Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials
• Share tasks across the restaurant — we’re a small team and support each other ✅ Requirements
• Experience managing a sushi station
• No omakase experience required — but open to learning new techniques
• Comfortable with modern as well as traditional styles
• Team-oriented, dependable, and clean
• Basic English communication with guests and teammates
