Position Overview During the Full Service Oil Change, the lube technician is responsible for servicing and inspecting the complete underside of the vehicle quickly, safely, and accurately. The lube technician must pay careful attention that only the proper gaskets and drain plugs are installed, the vehicle is greased, the gear boxes checked, the oil filter is tight, and there are no leaks after installation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Work safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized. Protect pit opening with bay net when not occupied by vehicle, • Use Echo System, • Perform visual inspection of vehicle undercarriage, document any unusual conditions, • Obtain correct oil filter, Drain oil, Inspect oil drain plug and gasket. Replace bottom-side oil filter, when applicable, • Check/fill gear boxes, • Perform additional services, such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials, when applicable, • Assist with performing pressure and leak check, • Perform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions. Your Impact The Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Pueblo, Colorado. The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. These are local sites-candidates should reside within 50 miles of the Pueblo, Colorado areas. Core Responsibilities • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment., • Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules., • Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment., • Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order., • Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)., • Able work in a solo as well as a group environment. Core Experience • 1+ years' experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred., • Preventative Maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred., • Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills., • Specific solar experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI, etc.) is preferred., • Takes initiative to escalate issues at site., • Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices.
