Position Summary: The Cocktail Server provides friendly and efficient service by executing Ladder 13's Steps of Service in the lobby area and outdoor terrace in The Lantern Columbia. Essential Job Functions • Execute Ladder 13's Steps of Service for the lobby and outdoor terrace areas., • Understand the patron/guest's needs and suggestively sell from a base of mastering the beverage and food menu (we train for this)., • Listens and responds to guest’s needs., • Master knowledge of our products (spirits, wine, beer, food) to support a guest's selections while also addressing any allergy concerns., • Timely and accurately input the guest's orders into Toast (our POS)., • Picks up and delivers orders to appropriate guests within prescribed time limits, ensuring accuracy of the order, • Read the guest(s), approach when appropriate, offer additional rounds (in accordance with Training)., • Assist bartenders or other servers as needed., • Perform side duties ensuring opening and closing and service flow is supported with all needed materials in the right place, at the right time., • Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner. Experience serving, food or beverage, is preferred but not required. Proficient in POS Systems, Aloha, Micros, Toast, etc is preferred but not required. Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies: ServSafe, TIPS Certification (if you don't have this, we'll assist with you becoming certified). Job DescriptionSalary: 15.35 Job Posting: Floater Richland County First Steps, Ridgewood Center Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Richland County First Steps is hiring a Floater for our Ridgewood Early Head Start Center. This role is important to the daily success of our program. The floater supports teachers, assists with child routines, covers breaks, and helps keep our center clean, organized, and running smoothly. This position also picks up responsibilities in the kitchen and custodial areas, working side by side with the current Ridgewood floater to make sure all cleaning, dishwashing, and food service tasks are completed each day. What the Floater does The floater assists teachers with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and supervising young children. The floater helps maintain clean and safe classrooms and provides coverage when teachers take breaks. The role also includes dishwashing, sanitizing bottles and utensils, helping with meal preparation, sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, doing laundry, and keeping common areas clean. The floater must be able to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures, communicate with the center director, and work well with the other Ridgewood floater to divide tasks for the day. What we are looking for We prefer someone who has completed Infant and Toddler CDA coursework or has experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organization skills are important. The floater must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and standing for long periods. Applicants must pass all required background checks including SLED and DSS.
