Job DescriptionJob Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics Location: NYC, NY 10037 Schedule: 3 x 11.5-hour shifts (34.5 hours per week) / 13 Weeks Open Positions: 1 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in Med/Surg or rehabilitation, and the ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level critical care support. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in a step-down/PCU environment, • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias, • Administer medications, including IV therapies and titrated infusions, • Manage patients requiring respiratory support, including oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management, • Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, • Respond to emergencies using rapid response/code protocols, • Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records, • Follow infection control and isolation precautions, • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care at all timesRequired Qualifications:, • Active New York RN License (in hand at time of submission), • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in PCU, Step-Down, or Med-Surg setting, • BLS Certification required, • Experience with EPIC EMR system
