Job Description Sales Manager / Head of New Business Sales (SaaS | Fintech) Location: Huntington Beach, CA (Onsite) OTE: $230,000+ Year One (Base + Commission + Upside) About The Mortgage Office The Mortgage Office is the leading fintech SaaS platform powering private and specialized lenders. What You’ll Do Lead & Scale New Business Sales • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 existing SaaS sales reps, • Set clear goals, drive accountability, and elevate performance, • Actively participate in sales cycles: prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closing calls, • Model best-in-class SaaS sales behaviors, • Refine and scale the sales process: pipeline stages, forecasting, CRM discipline, metrics, • Drive data-backed decisions using SaaS KPIs (pipeline velocity, conversion rates, deal size, rep productivity), • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership, • Refine messaging and positioning for different buyer personas, • Develop deep working knowledge of The Mortgage Office platform (origination, servicing, fund management), • Deliver clear, compelling demos and explain complex workflows in plain English, • Help translate product value into outcomes lenders actually care about What We’re Looking For • Proven SaaS sales success, ideally in fintech, prop tech, or complex B2B software, • Experience leading 3–6 sales reps in a new-business, outbound environment, • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to coach others to win, • Comfort operating as a player-coach—you still love to sell, • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics: ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, upsell, • Experience building & improving sales processes and frameworks, • Confident, clear communicator with a data-driven mindset Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission ($230K+ OTE Year One), • 401(k) with company match, • Generous PTO, • Health benefits and standard coverage, • Ongoing training and leadership development, • Collaborative, high-ownership culture, • Company events, team outings, and a positive in-office environment, • A product that’s trusted, sticky, and genuinely impactful for customers, • Cross country travel & budget for client meetings and tradeshows Our Culture & Values We value: • Accuracy – getting the numbers right, • Efficiency – building scalable systems, • Versatility – adapting to unique client needs If you’re ready to lead, sell, and scale at a high growth fintech SaaS company, and want real ownership in the outcome, send us your resume and a brief note about your sales leadership experience.
