Position Summary The Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) will be the on-site champion for safety, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and project-specific regulations. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, productive environment for our employees, subcontractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities • Implement and maintain the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA)., • Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and weekly safety meetings., • Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910, EM 385-1-1, and VA safety protocols., • Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions., • Review subcontractor safety plans and monitor adherence., • Maintain accurate safety records, logs, and reports using platforms like Procore., • Coordinate with government inspectors during audits., • Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts.Qualifications, • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in federal construction safety (VA, USACE, NAVFAC projects preferred)., • Certifications:, • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety (OSHA 500/502 preferred), • First Aid/CPR, • EM 385-1-1 training highly desirable, • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)., • Strong knowledge of federal safety regulations and reporting requirements., • Excellent communication and leadership skills.Why Work With Us?, • Mission-Driven Projects: Your work directly impacts veterans' healthcare and national infrastructure., • Award-Winning Team: Recognized for excellence by major federal agencies., • Career Growth: Opportunities to advance within a company committed to professional development.
