What We’re Looking For • Prior legal assistant or executive assistant experience (family law experience = extra gold star)., • A master organizer who can juggle deadlines, emails, and case files without breaking a sweat., • Emotional intelligence and empathy—you’ll often be talking to people going through tough times., • Familiarity with case management software like MyCase or Clio., • Someone who takes pride in being reliable, resourceful, and a team player. Compensation: $46,500 - $50,500 yearly Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Draft and proofread legal documents (typos, beware)., • Keep our case files so organized that Marie Kondo would be proud., • Schedule hearings, mediations, and meetings—because attorneys + scheduling = chaos., • Be the friendly, professional voice clients, court staff, and opposing counsel can rely on., • Notarize documents, wrangle deadlines, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks., • Support our attorneys and paralegals so they can focus on lawyering while you handle the details., • Keep Attorney Sarji’s email inbox from becoming a black hole (a heroic feat, we promise).Qualifications:, • Ability to timely and professionally communicate with clients, other attorneys and their staff, and court personnel., • Ability to track both billable and non-billable time in 0.1 increments on a daily basis., • Strong organizational skills., • Ability to support attorneys and paralegals in ensuring that case milestones and deadlines are met., • Attention to detail., • Ability to assist with gathering case-related information such as court records, background details, or public filings as requested., • Ability to assist clients with completing forms, financial disclosures, and other required documentation under attorney or paralegal supervision., • Ability to open, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare and send outgoing mail, including traveling to the Post Office to process certified mailings., • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, including common areas and workspaces., • Ability to travel to miscellaneous locations as needed to retrieve necessary documents for cases or to drop off case-related documents.
