Roughly 50% construction litigation and 50% insurance coverage and bad-faith disputes., • Direct access to decision-makers. Job Details This role is built for an experienced commercial litigator who wants ownership, accountability, and meaningful courtroom work. You’ll manage complex construction and insurance matters from inception through resolution, lead litigation strategy, and serve as a trusted advisor to business clients. What You’ll Do • Litigate construction defect, delay, and contract disputes on behalf of contractors, developers, and property owners., • Handle first-party and third-party insurance coverage litigation tied to construction and property losses., • Lead all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation., • Appear in state and federal courts and manage cases independently with minimal oversight., • Develop and execute litigation strategy focused on leverage, recovery, and resolution., • Supervise support staff and collaborate closely with firm leadership., • Manage multiple high-stakes cases simultaneously with precision and zero missed deadlines. What We’re Looking For • Mid-Level: 5–8 years of experience in construction law, insurance coverage, or commercial litigation., • Senior: 9+ years with meaningful trial or arbitration experience in construction or insurance disputes., • Strong understanding of construction processes and insurance policy structures., • Confident courtroom presence and command of litigation strategy., • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing complexity., • Business-minded approach to litigation and client relationships.
