The Site Director is responsible for operating a School Age Out of School Time program through the school year (September-June), supporting Vacation Care Program (December, February, and April School vacation weeks) at a YMCA Center along with leading a 5 week Summer Learning Academy during the summer (July-August), including 2 weeks of summer camp support at a YMCA center. The Director conducts themselves in a caring, responsible, honest, and respectful manner and is a role model for colleagues, staff as well as for program families. They ensure focus on Y core focus areas that promotes healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development. We specialize in assisting residents who are in transition due to major redevelopment, renovation, or renovation-in-place construction projects. HOU's mission is to ensure that residents are treated fairly and experience minimal physical and emotional stress during the relocation process while ensuring that our clients' projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Director of Resident Services position requires a high level of detail and organization skillset, along with motivation and genuine concern for families and the community. The Director of Resident Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day case management tasks and making sure HOU continues to offer assistance to residents that will continue to improve their quality of life. Job Description Community Music Center of Boston (CMCB), an arts education nonprofit with a mission to transform lives by providing equitable access to excellent music education and arts experiences, invites current Berklee students to apply to our music therapy internship program. This internship offers opportunities to work in both community-based groups (Boston Public Schools, community-based day supports, skilled nursing facilities, and early intervention and family support sites) and in individual music therapy sessions at our location in the South End of Boston. Interns will have the opportunity to work not only alongside music therapists but also collaborate with music instructors and educator and engage and plan with site-based staff to support for each of our program sites. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. MERL expressly prohibits any form of workplace harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status. Improper interference with the ability of MERL’s employees to perform their job duties may result in discipline up to and including discharge. Working at MERL requires full authorization to work in the U.S and access to technology, software and other information that is subject to governmental access control restrictions, due to export controls. Employment is conditioned on continued full authorization to work in the U.S and the availability of government authorization for the release of these items, which might include without limitation, obtaining an export license or other documentation. MERL may delay commencement of employment, rescind an offer of employment, terminate employment, and/or modify job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and/or access to MERL facilities and information systems, as MERL deems appropriate, to ensure practical compliance with applicable employment law and government access control restrictions. In addition to base pay, interns receive a relocation stipend, covered travel to and from MERL, and a monthly Charlie Card for local commuting. Interns are invited to participate in weekly social gatherings and professional development opportunities, including research talks by both internal and external speakers. Interns who meet the 90-day waiting period are also eligible for health insurance coverage. MERL provides immigration support for qualified candidates as needed. Employment is considered “at-will,” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary or any other compensation program at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, departmental or Company performance, and market conditions.
