Job Description A premier private practice neurosurgery group in the Houston area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA). The practice is well established and does 100% elective cases. This is a position that involves traveling with with the surgical team in the greater Houston area. The incumbent will work with one of our exceptional surgeons who specializes in Mohs Surgery. This is a full time, Mon-Friday position that includes benefits. Applicants must have experience with rooming & educating patients, obtaining procedure consents, assisting with procedures, documenting in the EMR, scribing for physician, completing patient call backs, scheduling surgeries, logging & tracking pathology, completing prior authorizations, removing sutures and other duties as assigned. Dermatology experience is a definite plus! We utilize Modernizing Medicine's EMA as our EMR system. Successful applicants will be quick thinking, team players who are passionate about helping others.
