Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent., • Completion of a Central Service Technician training program or equivalent experience in sterile processing., • Basic knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and medical terminology., • Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate records., • Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent., • Experience working in a hospital or clinical sterile processing department., • Familiarity with inventory management systems and electronic record-keeping., • Knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance procedures., • Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment using appropriate methods and sterilization technologies., • Inspect instruments for damage or wear and perform minor repairs or coordinate with biomedical services for maintenance., • Assemble surgical instrument sets according to established protocols and ensure their readiness for upcoming procedures., • Maintain detailed documentation of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory management., • Adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment., • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to prioritize instrument processing based on surgical schedules and emergencies.
