Job Description We are currently looking to hire Hospice Nurse Surveyors!! If you are a hospice nursing professional, with a strong compliance background and passion for improving the quality of patient care, this is a great opportunity for you to make an impact on a national scale. This is a travel-based, per-diem position – all assignments will require travel to a hospice agency being surveyed for accreditation/certification. CHAP Site Visitors are responsible for conducting, planning, organizing, and coordinating healthcare accreditation and/or certification surveys in the community setting. These visits must be performed in accordance with the CHAP Standards of Excellence, in strict confidentiality unless otherwise required by law, and within compliance of the policies and procedures that govern the accreditation/certification process. Qualified candidates must possess expert level knowledge of the CMS Hospice Conditions of Participation and resources related to the CoPs (conditions of participation) and the survey process. Home Health experience and prior knowledge of the CHAP Standards of Excellence is a plus. This position requires strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, complete, and well-written documentation. Candidates must be able to work autonomously, apply critical thinking, and be adaptable to change. Applicants must submit a resume that reflects these minimum requirements: The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related specialty area, Active Registered Nursing (RN) license, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance or regulatory-related role in the hospice industry. At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role is required (responsible for leading a team/direct reports). A minimum of 10 survey days per month must be available (does not include the required travel days). The pay structure is as follows: • Survey days: $402/day, • Travel days: $175/day (1 day per assigned survey), • Site Visit prep time: $75/per site visit, • Other: $60/per day in meal per diem per site visit day, $30 per day in meal per diem for travel day., • Estimated Minimum monthly pay: $5,590 (gross) to include meal stipends *(based on 10 survey days, 4 travel days, meal per diems & prep)., • Travel: All airfare expenses are paid by CHAP; other travel expenses are reimbursed including mileage at the current IRS Standard Rate of 70 cents per mile., • Benefits: Employees are eligible for 401(k) and limited wellness benefits. This position does not accrue paid time off., • Training: Must be available for 4-6 consecutive travel weeks during first two months of employment for training (preceptorship).

Requirements * 3–7 years of survey drafting experience, including at least 3 years with AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Strong ability to apply CAD standards and drafting best practices to produce precise and consistent plans. * Detail-oriented, self-directed, and eager to learn new tools. * Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams. * Familiarity with Philadelphia surveying and one-call standards preferred. * Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Geodesy, or a related field preferred. * Experience with ArcGIS, Google Earth, or LiDAR/3D scanning tools preferred. * Certifications such as CST Level II, SIT, or OSHA (Confined Space/Fall Protection) are preferred. * Experience working on Philadelphia-based infrastructure or utility projects preferred.
