Job DescriptionCompany Description Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges. Project Objective The goal of the project is to verify the geolocation of businesses. The Task The data collectors will be given specific addresses on each day that they will need to attend. Surveyor will be operating a working device with a targeted application installed. Therefore we are looking for someone who is active and loves travelling. Duration The project is ongoing and we are looking for a new person to join our team. The project is rapidly growing, so there is no end date as of now. Schedule The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Data Management and Analysis • Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data, working collaboratively with the survey team to maintain the highest data integrity., • Coordinate with the project team on the development and review of the field package, field procedures, and general project lifecycle., • Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis., • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians., • An educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred., • A minimum of 3 years of technical experience in progressively responsible surveying roles., • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting, data processing, and reviewing final surveying deliverables., • Experience in Utilities preferred., • Proficiency in the use of advanced surveying instruments and software., • In-depth knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and procedures., • Problem solving and organizational skills are necessary. Texas PLS license are preferred · Must have experience building business relationships with current and potential client · Must have experience with Easement/ Right-of Way Surveys, Plats, ALTAs, boundaries, property descriptions and topographic survey · Experience with CAD and survey computation software including Civil3D, Carlson Survey and Trimble Business Center · Field experience operating survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Scan Station, sUAS) • Would like to add another RPLS to the team, • Prepare final plats, title surveys, easements, right-of-way dedications, etc., • Prepare construction staking files (CSV's/RXL's) for field crews, • Perform office computations for boundary surveys, carry surveys to final completion, • Verify project managers have provided all necessary information with survey request prior to work being assigned to field crews, • Maintain filing system for completed surveys, field notes, and field books, • Provide ownership, utility, and other data research in support of survey projects, • Rile plats with governmental agencies and be responsible for meeting document requirements., • Effective communication skills with all levels of employees within an organization, • Attention to detail & ability to efficiently resolve problems, • Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D is required, • Leadership abilities, eager to learn, and a positive "do whatever it takes" attitude, • Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs, • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time, • Maintain respectable work attire, • Survey experience is preferred
