Job Description Senior Tax Accountant Tax Firm looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to prepare federal, state and local tax returns for businesses, organizations, non-profits, individuals and trusts. The position is entirely on-site (non-remote) at a suburban Philadelphia location in Burlington County, NJ. The candidate needs to be a team player, have technical expertise, have the ability to form strong and meaningful relationships with others and inspire trust and confidence in the candidate’s internal and external partners. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Job Responsibilities include: · Accumulating, analyzing, and processing financial and accounting data in order to prepare tax returns, estimated tax payments, projections and financial accounting estimates of tax · Prepare federal, state and local tax returns including, but not limited to, IRS Form 1065, IRS Form 1120, IRS Form 1120S, IRS Form 1040, IRS Form 1041, IRS Form 709, and IRS Form 990 (and 990PF), as well as all accompanying schedules, forms, exhibits and attachments (including, but not limited to, Schedule C, Schedule E, IRS Form 5471 and IRS Form 8621) · Prepare tax payments and estimated tax payments · Ensure client adherence to compliance-related deadlines such as extensions, tax estimate requirements, tax return filings and other tax related services · Gather financial information and prepare tax filings for various reporting requirements (IRS Form 1099 and IRS Schedule K-1, K-2 and K-3) · Working understanding of Foreign Tax Reporting including IRS Forms 926, 1116, 2555, 5471, 8621, 8865, 8886, 8938 and FBAR Filings. · Complete quarterly and annual tax reports and annual state company/corporate reports · Responsible for proper documentation and tax record management · Identify tax-related technical issues and liaise with external tax advisors · Provide clients with quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and/or year-end tax planning Requirements · Extensive experience working with CCH Access Tax, including CCH Documents, CCH Engagement, K-1X Aggregator, PDFlyer and CCH Answer Connect tax research · Experience with Investment Partnerships and Alternative Investments · Self-starter with high energy and a positive attitude · Excellent project management skills · Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant and Tax Return Preparer · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Mastery of accounting and bookkeeping processes and procedures · Excellent time management skills · Highly organized · Excellent ability to deal with complexity · Meticulous and high-level attention to detail and multitasking · Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills · BS degree in Accounting or Finance required · CPA certification required · Masters of Science in Taxation a plus · Family Office and/or Trust Company experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Education: • Bachelor's (Required) License/Certification: • CPA (Required) Work Location: In person
