You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing both business and individual income tax returns for numerous clients. This job can be either Full-time or Part-time depending on the candidate. Responsibilities: · Request, collect and compile all necessary documents needed to prepare tax returns · Review, prepare and assist clients in preparing GAAP financial statements to prepare tax returns i.e. forms 1120, 1120S and 1065 · Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed, communicate financial results and explain and answer clients' questions · Consult and assist clients on maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times · Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals · Prepare tax returns both business and individuals and submit for review Qualifications: • Previous experience in accounting, individual and business tax returns, • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP, • Experience in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products, • Detail and deadline-oriented, • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, • Salary of $55,000 to $70,000 depending on past experience and capabilities (Full-time).
