Job Description Our company is looking for a skilled bookkeeper/tax preparer to record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This position requires interaction and coordination with multiple clients to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions, and reporting of results. Responsibilities • Record financial transactions and complete the posting process, • Analyze and prepare adjustments to accounting records, • Prepare financial statements for various types of businesses., • Minimum 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper, • Associates degree in accounting, • Solid understanding of accounting principles, • Ability to build good working relationships with clients, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required, • Proficient in professional written correspondence, • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software, • Proficient user in MS Office applications and Quickbooks, • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
