Job Description PHOENIX, AZ $50,000 – $90,000 per year (Top performers exceed over $90K) Take-Home Vehicle | Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Minimal Travel Tradewind Mechanical & Plumbing is hiring experienced HVAC Installers for multi-family apartment projects. We have ongoing work in Phoenix are looking for installers who can work independently and produce quality installations. This position is for experienced installers only. Helpers or trainees will not be considered. WE ARE LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED! About the Role: As an HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial, and industrial settings. Your primary objective will be to install HVAC systems to meet client specifications and regulatory standards. This role demands a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical components, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues promptly. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver high-quality service and ensure system reliability. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and overall customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent., • Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship., • Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants., • Proven experience working with HVAC systems in a professional capacity., • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams., • Minimum 3+ years HVAC installation experience, • Experience installing split systems, package units, retro, first company, mini splits and ductwork, • Experience working on multi-family apartments projects, • Ability to complete installations with minimal supervision, • Valid driver’s license, • English is REQUIRED, • Remove and Install new HVAC systems according to specifications, and safety standards., • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and longevity., • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment., • Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations., • Adhere to all safety protocols and comply with local, state, and federal regulations., • Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, tools, and industry best practices., • Maintain and complete accurate service notes, • Participate on occasional on-call rotation, • Work efficiently with dispatch, • Performance-based pay, not clock-punching, • Opportunities for advancement, • Minimal trave and predictable schedule, • Weekly Pay, • End of year BONUS (Must be with company more than 6 months) What You'll Get • Health insurance, • Dental / Vision insurance, • Paid life insurance, • Paid time off, • Paid holidays, • Take-home company van and gas card, • Overtime available, • Company iPhone, • Training and Certifications, • HVAC: 3 year experience (Preferred), • EPA Certification (Preferred), • Driver's License (Required)
