Job Description D1 Training Madison West is looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our team and help elevate our fitness facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving membership growth and personal training sales while managing day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: * Sales & Growth: Spearhead membership and personal training package sales with a focus on hitting or surpassing monthly goals. Lead consultative sales meetings, demonstrating the value of our services to prospective clients and training the team on best sales practices. * Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of sales associates and trainers. Lead by example, ensuring a high-energy, results-oriented environment while setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching to improve team performance. * Facility Operations: Oversee daily operations, including front desk functions, member onboarding, and retail sales. Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for every member, from first-time visitors to seasoned athletes, ensuring we deliver on the D1 brand promise. * Business Strategy & Performance: Collaborate with ownership on strategic goals, track performance metrics such as lead conversion, retention, and sales, and use data-driven insights to guide decisions. Monitor and control the facility’s financials, contributing to budget development and maintaining financial health. * Community Engagement: Represent D1 Training in the Madison West community by building relationships with local schools, sports teams, and businesses. Help grow the brand through events, partnerships, and marketing initiatives aimed at lead generation. Qualifications (Must-Haves): * Experience: 3+ years in sales, with at least one year in a leadership role. Prior experience in the fitness industry or sales of high-ticket services is a major plus. Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Leadership: Strong leadership skills, able to inspire and mentor a team. Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks, maintain a positive and accountable environment, and stay committed to performance goals. * Sales Expertise: Exceptional sales, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to build trust with clients and prospects, overcome objections, and maintain a consultative sales approach. * Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders at all levels. Customer-focused with a knack for creating positive relationships. * Business Acumen: Comfortable with budgeting, metrics, and P&L management. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. * Tech & Social Media Proficiency: Experience using gym management software (e.g. MindBody) and social media platforms to engage with clients and drive brand awareness. * Work Ethic & Attitude: Energetic, self-driven, and goal-oriented. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and stay motivated during long workdays.
